Day 02
Miramar Bach Goa
Miramar is the beach area of the Goan capital of Panjim, also known as Panaji and is one of the most visited beaches of Goa. It is one of the two only beaches in Panjim, other being Caranzalem beach.
Fort Agueda
Fort Aguada is a well-preserved seventeenth-century Portuguese fort, along with a lighthouse, standing in Goa, India, on Sinquerim Beach, overlooking the Arabian Sea. In here you can visit Aguada lighthouse & Aguada Central Jail.
Bassilica of Bom Jesus
The Basilica of Bom Jesus is a Roman Catholic basilica located in the Goa state, situated in the Konkan region of India. It is both a pilgrimage centre and also the most iconic monument of all the churches and convents of Goa, recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The basilica is located in Old Goa, former capital of Portuguese India, and holds the mortal remains of St Francis Xavier.
Dona Paula Beach
Dona Paula transforms into a crowded stretch which is otherwise a calm place during monsoons. One of the attractions in Dona Paula is a whitewashed statue perched on the rocks near the ferry jetty.
Anjuna Beach
Anjuna is famous for trance parties held on its beach during the tourist season (October - April).
Anjuna also hosts the famous flea market (every Wednesday and Saturday), in which products from all over India, as well as from foreigners, are sold, ranging from fruits to jewelry, to clothes, to hashish and electronic devices. On Wednesdays, there is a day market which starts in the morning and ends at 7:30 pm and on Saturdays, there is a night market.
